SOS provides digital cheque printing solution to law firms
SOS has teamed up with Advanced Secure to provide clients with
the optimum cheque printing solution.
The innovative Advanced Secure Digital Cheque system
dramatically increases the security and efficiency of cheque
payments for users of SOS’s practice management software.
It replaces the time-consuming conventional cheque issuing process
with a digital system that allows firms to produce corporate
cheques using the latest secure laser technology. This new streamlined
process reduces the cost traditionally associated with the processing
of cheque payments.
Signatures are applied using a swipe care which means that cheques
don’t have to be signed manually. Fee earners typically
spend several hours each month signing cheques and this loss
of chargeable time alone generally covers the capital expenditure
costs in year one.
Most law firms issuing an average of 10,000 cheques or more
a year will be able to justify the cost of the digital cheque
solution because of the huge time savings made.
The Windows-based system offers a number of other benefits to
law firms: payments are issued on plain cheque paper which means
one set of stationery is all that’s needed, rather than
one for each bank account. Bank and company details can be easily
changed using the software which ensures that stationery is not
wasted.
