Kirby Simcox selects SOS Connect

Solicitors Own Software (SOS) has announced that Bristol-based law firm Kirby Simcox has chosen to implement SOS Connect following a detailed review of the legal software market.

Kirby Simcox is a 7 partner firm employing some 70 staff across 3 offices in and around Bristol.  The firm provides a comprehensive range of legal services to both private clients and businesses across the South West region. The firm has also been a franchised Legal Aid supplier since 1994 and now holds a Legal Services Commission Civil Contract.

SOS Connect is the latest software to be developed by SOS.  This dynamic and integrated, practice and case management software is designed to support the entire legal practice by providing an excellent level of functionality that will manage legal workflow, time recording and billing as well as providing ‘real time’ management information.  It also uses the latest .NET capability which means the system can be easily accessed via an internet connection.

The new SOS Connect system will replace the firm’s current Mountain software from supplier IRIS and will include a comprehensive electronic data conversion ensuring a smooth transition between the two systems.
