SOS expands team to support business growth
SOS is pleased to welcome a number of new faces to the training and technical support teams as we enjoy exceptional demand for our legal software solutions and our SOS Connect Software in particular.
Recent additions to the SOS team include David Orr, Maria Minott, Ryan Swann, Robert Ware, Sue Conlon, Emma Wood and Melodie Syman.
David joins SOS as a Conversion Specialist. He has worked in the IT sector for the last six years, including looking after conversions at Axxia from where David joins us. At SOS he will be responsible for converting client data from firms’ existing systems into SOS Connect.
Maria joins SOS as Senior Support Analyst following a career in commercial accounting and credit control. She also has experience of working in a legal practice and has just taken her Association of Accounting Technicians intermediate exams.
Ryan and Robert both have backgrounds in accountancy and join SOS as Application Support Analysts. Ryan is currently studying for Part 2 of the ILCA examinations (Institute of Legal Cashiers & Administrators), while Robert is taking the advanced level of the CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) examinations.
They will offer advice and guidance on the application of SOS software relating to, for example, reporting, Solicitors’ Accounts Rules or Legal Services Commission Regulations. They will also provide support for the case management modules within SOS Connect.
Emma joins as a Scripting Consultant where she will be involved in the tailoring of SOS Connect for individual firms’ workflow requirements. She has worked as an application consultant, legal case management trainer and information systems co-ordinator for a number of firms prior to moving to SOS.
With a number of years’ experience as an IT training consultant for CIVICA Legal Systems, Sue will take on the role of Accounts Trainer at SOS.
Finally, having completed her A levels and enjoyed a gap year, Melodie has embarked on a career in administration and joins SOS as our Helpdesk Receptionist.
We are delighted to have the above staff join SOS, where their qualifications and experience will help support our expanding client base.
