Buckles Solicitors Switch to SOS Online Software

Solicitors Own Software (SOS) has announced that its powerful, web-based practice and matter management software has been selected by one of East Anglia's pre-eminent law firms.

Peterborough-based Buckles Solicitors LLP (Buckles) is the latest firm to switch to SOS Connect which can deliver real commercial benefits to law firms by reducing the time fee earners spend on administration.

SOS Connect can be accessed from home or a client’s office via a laptop – all users need is an internet connection. This means that multi-branch law firms don’t need expensive leased lines to roll out the software across the entire practice.

Buckles, a 14-partner firm with 100 staff overall, will be installing SOS Connect onto every desktop throughout the firm as part of a contract worth £150,000. The new system will replace the firm’s existing Osprey accounting software from supplier Pracctice. This decision is part of the firm’s ongoing business strategy. Buckles’ recent organic growth has been a result of improved management protocols, investment in key staff recruitment and now, with SOS Connect as a business tool, the firm is looking to consolidate its market position and provide foundations for continued growth and development.
